Does my account expire?

Your account will stay active until 90 days after your wedding, at which point we will email you to let you know that your account is expiring. If it's too soon to say goodbye to your creation, we just ask that you sign in every 30 days to keep it active.

Are there any extra charges?

No. We manage all your website hosting and everything associated with your account. If you have purchased additional features, they don't expire. Optional domain name upgrades are purchased for a fixed timeframe.

Can I test it before I pay?

Of course! In fact, we encourage it. Try it out, see if it's right for you and if you want any of the paid upgrades, if not, save your cash for the honeymoon.

Can I use a Custom Domain name?

Yes. You optionally can purchase a custom domain name for your website for between 1 and 10 years.

What do I do if I have a problem or need help?

You can contact us at any time by looking in the help center, or simply send an email to help@sayi.do

Why isn't Say I do completely free?

We try to keep everything as affordable as possible while still being able to provide you with a reliable service. We charge upfront and are transparent about that so we don't need to do shady things like selling your data without you knowing.

What do you do with my/my guests personal data?

We never sell, give away, do deals for, or otherwise share the personal data of you or your guests. We wouldn't like if you did that to us, so we will never do it to you.

Do you offer [something else]?

Maybe. Maybe not. But it doesn't hurt to ask. We are releasing new things all the time, so who knows, it might be right around the corner! Email help@sayi.do with your question.

What if I want a refund?

Of course! We offer a full refund within 14 days if you no longer wish to use Say I do, eligible on all purchases except domain names.

Online RSVP

Do you have online RSVP available?

Our free smart RSVP and wedding website is included with every Say I do account.

Will my guests need to create an account to RSVP?

No they will not. Your wedding guests simply need to visit your wedding website, click the RSVP button, and follow the steps to submit their RSVP online—quick and easy!

Can a guest RSVP for all the people in their party?

Yes, an individual wedding guest is able to RSVP for their whole party.

Can wedding guests change their RSVP response later?

Yes, they can! If your online RSVP feature is enabled, guests can easily update their responses by resubmitting their answers. If needed, you can turn off the RSVP feature to prevent further updates.

How will I know if a guest has RSVP’d online?

We will send you an email notification every time a wedding guest RSVPs online.

Is it possible to ask guests for meal preferences when they RSVP?

Certainly! With our custom RSVP question feature, you can effortlessly gather meal preferences and other important details from your guests.

Can I set a deadline for RSVPs?

You sure can! You can add it to your wedding website and/or include it on your digital wedding invitation. You can even send an RSVP reminder to your wedding guests.

Can guests send notes or requests with their RSVP?

How can I ask for guests' dietary requirements?

This is automatically added to your RSVP form in our Standard package upgrade.

How can I confirm that every invited guest has responded?

Your Say I do dashboard is your source of truth for all your wedding planning. It includes a breakdown of your events, who is attending, who is not and who is yet to RSVP.

Online Wedding Invitations

What can I send to my guests?

Anything you like! Anything from the Save the Date to the Thank You Notes and everything in between.

Is there a limit to how many emails I can send?

We don't charge per email, so you can send as many invitations, thank you cards and RSVP reminders as you need!

Do email invites replace traditional paper invites?

We have designed our email invitations and announcements to replace OR complement paper invites.

What is a digital wedding invitation?

A digital invitation is just like a paper invitation, except in digital format. This means you will create the invite online and send it via email, SMS, or WhatsApp. Learn more and Go eco-friendly with digital wedding invitations.

What about older wedding guests?

You don't need to send electronic invites to everyone. You pick and choose. So if a guest doesn't have a smartphone or computer you can just RSVP on their behalf.

Can I send my invitation via text message?

Yes, you can. You can use your SMS service or an app like WhatsApp to send your guests your invite and link to your wedding website.

Can I include photos on my electronic wedding invitations?

Of course you can! We have options that allow you to add a photo to your wedding invite.

Do you offer services other than online wedding invitations?

Yes, we do! We offer a complete wedding planning app, including a wedding website, wedding checklist, seating planner and more.

Can I change my evite invitation design after I’ve sent it?

If you choose the option to have the digital invitation appear in a web browser, then you can update the design at anytime.

What types of online wedding invites can I send?

We have various options for you, including wedding invitations, save the dates, RSVP reminders, thank you cards and a custom option.

No, guests can view and respond to your digital wedding invitation without creating an account.

We make it super simple for you. Choose your design, adapt your invite, add your guests and send it.

Save the Dates

When should we send our Save the Date?

We recommend sending your Save the Dates as soon as you’ve finalised your wedding date. This usually falls somewhere between 6 and 12 months in advance, but don't worry, you'll see a reminder from us when it's time.

Do you have digital Save the Dates?

Yes, we do. Our platform is set up for you to send Save the Dates online.

Can I send your Save the Date via email?

You sure can. We make it easy for you to add your wedding guests' details and send a Save the Date email.

Is it ok to only send online Save the Dates?

Can I add my wedding website details to my Save the Date?

If you'd like your guests to visit your website straight away, you can add your website address or a link straight there. If you'd rather hold off until you have firmed up some details – you can do that too.

What wording should I use on my Save the Dates?

Do Save the Dates need to match the wedding theme?

It’s entirely up to you! While matching your wedding theme can create a cohesive look, it’s not a requirement because they're sent so far in advance that you might not have chosen your theme yet. Whatever feels right for you, we have options that will suit.

Can I customise the design of the digital Save the Date?

You sure can. You have the ability to choose and customise your Save the Date design.

What’s the difference between a Save the Date and a formal invitation?

A Save the Date announces your wedding date, while a formal invitation provides all the event details and generally the request to RSVP. Think of the Save the Date as a heads up of the date so guests can put it in their calendar. The invitation is when they need to decide if they're coming.

Can I resend a Save the Date if there’s a change in the wedding date?

Yes, you can and you should. If your date needs to be changed then your wedding guests will need to be notified of this update.

You can easily reset/update your planning checklist in the settings area.

How do I manage RSVPs and guest lists with the checklist?

Can I upload my wedding guest list from a spreadsheet or Excel?

You sure can. Our system allows you to upload an Excel spreadsheet of your wedding guest list.

Do I need to have all my wedding guests' contact details?

Absolutely not! You only need your guests’ names to begin creating your list on Say I do. If you’d like to collect emails, phone numbers, or addresses later, our handy Collect Contact Details form makes it easy to gather any missing information at your own pace.

When will invitations go out to wedding guests?

You are able to send an invitation when you wish. We will not automatically send out any information to your wedding guests until you are ready.

Will I need to know the names of my guests plus ones?

No, you do not. A guest given a plus one will fill in the details which will update your Say I do dashboard.

How many of my guest list will attend my wedding?

Generally speaking around 85% of your guest list will attend your wedding, this is slightly less for out-of-town guests.

Will my guests need to create an account with Say I do?

No, they will not. They simply need to visit your website to RSVP.

Will I be notified when someone from my guest list submits their RSVP?

If you'd like. We have the option to receive an email letting you know when someone submits their RSVP.

Can I ask my wedding guests questions?

Yes, you can. We give you the ability to ask custom questions to your wedding guests when they RSVP.

Can I update my guest list after I’ve launched my wedding website?

You sure can. You can update your guest list at any time and your website’s RSVP form will reflect these changes in real-time.

How do I ensure my guest data is kept private?

We take data security seriously. Say I do follows the best practices with secure servers, encryption, and strict privacy controls.

Can I manage seating arrangements in the app?
