Planning Your Trip
Hvar is a beautiful island off the coast of Croatia, just under an hour's ferry ride from the mainland at Split. It is still a relatively small island, with stunning beaches and a lovely marina area with fantastic restaurants and bars. The information on this website will hopefully help you plan and decide more details about your trip and whether you can join us.
The Wedding is on Thursday 29th May 2025 and we are planning to arrive on Sunday 25th May, staying for a total of 7 nights at the Amfora Hvar Grand Beach Resort. This hotel is less than a five minute short walk to the wedding venue at Beach Club, Hvar. We would love for you to stay here and spend your holiday with us, if you wish, however there are also many other hotel and accommodation options to suit all budgets and requirements.
In terms of booking this, you can either book a package holiday at one of the hotels in Hvar with Jet2, Tui or similar which will include your transfers and flights (we did this previously and it was hassle free and very easy to do). Or you can make your own trip, booking the hotel, transfers and flights separately, which option you choose will most likely depend on which you prefer and the best price available (more details on this is provided on the Hotel & accommodation and Flights/travel pages).
Equally we do not expect that everyone will be able to attend for the full 7 nights and therefore if you need to come for just a few nights or even the day itself then we will completely understand and the important thing for us is having you there to celebrate the big day.
