The Island of Hvar and surrounding Islands are stunning. On the island of Hvar, you can visit the main town, Hvar and explore the many side streets, restaurants, and bars. You can also take a walk up to the old fort which sits above the town and provides stunning views over the Adriatic sea. Hvar boasts fantastic night life, with beach clubs at Beach Club Hvar, Hula Hula Beach Club and Carpe Diem Beach Club. You can book sunbeds at these from prices starting around €40 a bed. One of the best bits about Hvar, is seeing the huge yachts and boats coming into the marina. This means there are also many options for boat trips. Palenki Islands - the Palenki Islands are just a short boat ride from Hvar. Here you will find the Carpe Diem Beach Club and the Palmizana Beach. You can hire a taxi boat to take you over and explore some of the beautiful beaches and restaurants. Islands of Vis - the Island of Vis is about an hour from Hvar but is where Mamma Mia 2 was filmed. Here you can visit the Blue Lagoon, Green Cave and the beautiful Stivina beach which you have to swim too from your boat! Watersports/paddle board/kayaks - there are lots of options to hire paddle boards, kayaks and undertake other watersports on the Island and the near the hotels. Aquapark - kids and adults will love playing on this on water assault course, located just a short walk from Hula Hula - Aquapark Hvar | Hvar | Facebook Beach Clubs & Nightlife Hvar is renowned for its world famous beach clubs. These are well worth a visit if you are able to, however don’t worry if not as we will be getting married at one!! Beach Club Hvar - the venue for the wedding but a stunning way to relax and enjoy the sea and sunshine. This place has a very chilled vibe so more relaxing than some of the other beach club options - https://www.beachhvar.com Hula Hula Beach Club - Hula Hula is a more upbeat vibe with many sunbeds available. You can’t book in advance so it’s a case of first come, first served and it is cash only. It also does an amazing Caesar salad for lunch! https://www.hulahulahvar.com Carpe Diem - Carpe Diem is located on the Palenki Islands so is a short boat ride away. It is a beautiful beach club in the day and then at 1am opens into an open-air nightclub. https://beach.cdhvar.com/en/ Kiva Bar – located in the main town, if you are looking for a drink and a dance this is the place for you! Restaurants There are lots of beautiful bars and restaurants in Hvar, below just gives you an idea of some of them: • Cascades/Splash Bar - this is the bar/restaurant located at the Amfora hotel by the pool. There is also a similar restaurant located just opposite the sea front. You can go here for food without booking a sun lounger. Great for evening drinks and cocktails with music whilst the sun sets - https://www.hulahulahvar.com • Falko - another option for food/drink near the Amfora, slightly more remote from the main town but nice place for a chilled evening drink • Central Park - our favourite place for an evening drink! Central Park is located just behind the Marina. Set under beautiful lights, you can enjoy a delicious glass of wine (the Hvar Possip is highly recommended) whilst enjoying the evening sunset and listening to live jazz music. https://www.klubparkhvar.com • Don Quijote - a beautiful restaurant located at the end of the Marina with stunning views, serving delicious Mediterranean food.
