Ceremony
Join us as we say our 'I do's' under the trees at Malanda Lodge. If it's a little wet on the day, we'll move in-doors at the same location.
Cocktail Hour
Have a wine (or two) during our pre-reception drinks while we take a couple of snaps. Enjoy the live music, beautiful views and spectacular company.
Reception
Our sit-down reception will be laid back, with minimal formalities... then we can dance the night away!

Accommodation Information
The below hotels are recommended, as this is where the bus pick-up and drop-off points are. Please get in touch with them directly to enquire about price and availability - let them know it's for the Cusack Wedding as we have put a few rooms aside at each option.

Transport on the day
Getting there
We will include a bus service from Atherton, via Yungaburra, to Malanda Lodge. Please ensure you RSVP for this service to guarantee a seat. Further information regarding pick up times and locations will be provided to those who RSVP for the bus.
Getting home
A bus will do return trips from Malanda Lodge, via Yungaburra, to Atherton from 10pm onwards.
Alternative transport options
Atherton offers a Taxi service, however, it is one of the only transport options locally as Uber and other driver services aren't in the area.
We highly recommend making transport arrangements in advance.

The closest airport is Cairns International Airport.
Cairns Airport offers car rental services. Bus services are also available.
Important Note
The trip from Cairns contains driving up a winding mountain range. If you get travel sick, we highly recommend bringing travel sick tablets.

What is the Dress Code?
Cocktail.
The Reception will be held in the garden, so stilletos are not recommended.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to numbers, only those listed on the invitation are welcome to RSVP.
We request our guests to please not bring a plus one unless they are specifically named on the invitation.
Are children invited?
Nursing babies and young children are welcome to attend - just let us know if you are bringing them along for catering purposes. Let us know pre-wedding if we can do anything to make it easier to attend.
Wishing Well
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all.
However, should you wish to honor us with a gift, a wishing well will be available at the reception for your contribution and best wishes.
Night before the Wedding
On Friday 28th February, all guests are welcome to come along to an optional (and informal) dinner at The BIG Pub, Malanda. Dinner and drinks are available for purchase, and it gives everyone a chance to mingle pre-wedding. RSVP so we can give the pub a heads up.
Recovery Brunch
On Sunday 2 March, all guests are welcome to come along to an optional (and informal) Recovery Brunch at Immellaroo, David and Carol Cusack's property. Please let us know if you can make it for catering purposes. Time: 10.00am, Address: 204 Sluice Creek Road, Evelyn, QLD 4888.
