Our Love Story
Lauren and Shane originally dated when Lauren was 17 and Shane was 22.
After a 16 year hiatus, fate intervened and brought Shane and Lauren back together in 2013. Much time had passed but for them it was like it was always meant to be. Shane immediately fell in love with little Chloe who was 3 at the time, and 4 years later they were blessed with the arrival of Andi.
After many years of Lauren waiting, and wondering, Shane finally decided to make an honest woman out of her, asking her to marry him in March 2021. Two and a half years later, the time has come for them to take the always and forever plunge.
Accommodation & Other Information
Earlville is 10-15mins from the city. The place where the wedding is being held is around the corner from where we live. There are plenty of accommodation options in the city, some of which are listed below, but there are not too many in Earlville. It's around a $25 fare each way from the city to the wedding venue.
If they have availability definitely look at:
https://www.ingeniaholidays.com.au/our-parks/queensland/far-north-queensland/cairns-coconut/ - it is very close to us.
It's an outdoor garden wedding. September can be quite cool in the evenings, however still gets to approx. 28 degrees during the day.
Children are more than welcome to attend the ceremony and remain for the afternoon, however to allow all wedding guests, particularly parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully ask that no children attend the reception.
Other Accommodation options to consider:
Wishing Well
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all.
However, should you wish to honour us with a gift,
a wishing well will be available at the reception
for your contribution and best wishes.
