We’re so excited to celebrate our wedding with you in Oslo, May 2025! We hope that you can join us from Friday 9th May at Lysebu hotel for our wedding weekend. Guests can arrive at any time, and either spend the day exploring the area or relaxing at the beautiful hotel with friends and family. The hotel has a pool, a small gym – and lots of great attractions nearby. You even can zip-line from the Holmenkollen ski jump or enjoy some beautiful hikes in the area. Just know that the hotel check-in opens at 15:00. The same day we invite you to a casual Norwegian-style barbeque from 18:00. This will be an opportunity for guests to meet each other prior to the wedding day, catch up with friends/family and to meet all the special people celebrating the weekend with us. Saturday 10th May is the big day, and the wedding ceremony and dinner will take place at Lysebu hotel. Bring your dancing shoes and don’t forget to bring some layers too as we expect the temperatures to be around 14 degrees during the day. On Sunday 11th May, there will be a farewell breakfast before checking out. After that, Marianne and Matt will quickly fly off to their honeymoon! We appreciate your time and stay with us for the weekend, and therefore only hope for your presence and no wedding gifts. We hope you understand our decision to make the wedding children-free, and take the opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate in style!
