Our Love Story
Filip and Laura’s story began in 2018 with a Tinder swipe in Newfoundland, Canada—one small moment that changed everything. Casual chats quickly turned into something more, and when Filip moved away soon after, Laura wasn’t far behind. Together, they set off on an adventure through Southeast Asia.
Life kept moving, and so did we. Laura pursued her studies in Copenhagen, while Filip built a home in Helsingborg. Distance had its challenges, but it never stood a chance against us.
Fast forward to today: a home of our own, a two-year-old dog named Bobby, and a trusty Volvo in the driveway. From a digital match to a life built together—this is just the beginning.

We are beyond excited to celebrate with you at Sofiero Palace – a former royal residence just outside Helsingborg, Sweden. With its stunning gardens and enchanting atmosphere, it’s the perfect place for our special day.

After the ceremony, we’ll make our way to the palace for an unforgettable evening—delicious food, flowing drinks, and dancing into the night!
Accommodation Information
There are many great hotel options in Helsingborg, all within a comfortable distance from the wedding venue. However, we’ve recently found out that the European Golf Championship will be taking place in Helsingborg the same weekend as our wedding. This means that hotels might book up faster than usual — so if you’re planning to celebrate with us (yay!), we highly recommend booking your stay as soon as possible.

Dresscode
We kindly ask our guests to dress in an elegant yet comfortable style, suitable for both an outdoor ceremony in the castle gardens and a formal evening celebration indoors.
For men: A suit in any color (dark blue, grey, or beige are great choices), paired with a dress shirt. A tie or bow tie is entirely up to you — feel free to wear one if you’d like!
For women: A festive dress (midi length or longer), an elegant jumpsuit, or a stylish skirt and blouse combination.
Since the ceremony will take place in the castle gardens, we recommend wearing shoes that are suitable for both grass and stone pathways. Light fabrics and summery colors are very welcome!
Most importantly, we want you to feel both elegant and comfortable throughout the day — so choose something that makes you feel your best.

Children
Children are welcome at the ceremony, but the celebration afterwards will be a time for adults to unwind — without little ones present. Naturally, babies who are still nursing are welcome throughout the day.
