Our Love Story
Our story began on a spring night in 2018 at the Queens Head Pub, a charming little bar in downtown Oakville. After both of our friend groups were denied entry to another venue at different times, fate led us to this spot. There, through our mutual friends—Mark, Andy, Ben, and Matt—we were introduced. The moment our eyes met, the connection was instant. What started as one spontaneous night out quickly grew into spending every weekend together, then every day, until it became forever. Now, we’re ready to embark on this new chapter as husband and wife, as one.

The Flight
Pack your bags—you’re off to the Eternal City! Fly into Rome's primary airport: Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport (FCO). The non-stop flight from Toronto takes approximately 8.5 hours, and with Rome being 6 hours ahead, we suggest booking an evening flight from Toronto to arrive in Rome by mid-morning or afternoon the next day.
Where to Stay
We suggest staying in Trastevere as it is the nearest area to our venue. Trastevere is one of the oldest and most characteristic districts of central Rome known for its vibrant restaurants, aperitivo spots, and lively bars! If you're traveling with a group, we recommend booking an Airbnb! A budget-friendly option with more space and a homey atmosphere. Prefer Hotels? There are lots of fantastic options as well!
