The nearest car park for the ceremony is Charles Street this uses JustPark to pay by app or use the machine. Top O’ Town (about 400m) is the same. There is limited on-street parking as well in High West Street

Nope, the wedding is at Dorchester Museum (now Dorset Museum) We then walk to the King’s Arms (300m) for a swift drink. We will provide a coach to Billy Winters which is on the Chesil Beach causeway in Weymouth (8 miles) for the party and food. The coach will leave from the road opposite the King’s Arms for those who would like a lift. https://www.dorsetmuseum.org/ https://billywinters.co.uk/

Billy Winters has a dozen or so free spaces but it adjoins the Ferrybridge car park, the machine takes coins and cards. There is a bigger public car park 400m away that uses the Just Park app, this site allows overnight parking. Crossing the road back from this car park to the venue is tricky as it’s a busy causeway.

We thought some of you might like a coach to the party venue this leaves at 4:45pm, opposite the King’s Arms. Please let us know in the RSVP if you want a seat.

There is an hourly train service from London Waterloo that stops at Dorchester South. There are two services to Weymouth from both Dorchester West and Dorchester South stations. There is a train from either station to Weymouth but they are separate stations about 600m apart. The Number 1 bus runs from Weymouth station to Portland every 30mins, it is a request stop for Ferrybridge

The party is a beach bar with some paving and some shingle in a marquee on the beach. The beach itself is shingle, if it is fine the marquee opens on to be beach. You may want flattish shoes!
