Our Love Story
Fatima and Opeyemi met at a career event in Lagos in February 2019. Both were there to improve their careers. Fatima arrived first and met another lady named Opeyemi. They quickly bonded over school and life challenges. Just before the event started, Opeyemi arrived with his colleagues but chose to sit next to Fatima and her new friend. They participated in the event together and took group pictures at the end. Opeyemi asked for their contact information, and a few days later, he reached out to Fatima, sparking their friendship.
Opeyemi continued to text and call Fatima frequently. When Fatima asked if he also kept in touch with her friend, Opeyemi admitted his strategy was to get close to both friends to get to Fatima. This made her laugh and admire his boldness. Their conversations about life and future goals grew, and over time, they became very fond of each other.
Eventually, Opeyemi proposed, and Fatima said yes! Their relationship blossomed into a decision to spend their lives together, marked by the hashtag #F&Orever24.
