Our Story
Alysia and Austin met back in September of 2020 after matching on Tinder! Austin’s comforting and goofy personality drew Alysia in quickly, while Alysia’s warm smile and overall character guaranteed she was the one for Austin.
Just short of one year later, in July 2021, Austin got down on one knee on Cavendish beach to propose to Alysia, but not before sending the photo of the ring to her 5 minutes before by accident (Oops!). Alysia confidently said yes to the man of her dreams.

Ariela
Alysia first met Ariela in daycare when they were just 3 years old. Alysia has been blessed to have a friend like Ariela who has been by her side her whole life, celebrating all the good times, and picking Alysia up during the bad times. Alysia has undoubtedly shared some of her biggest laughs with this dear friend. There wasn’t a doubt in her mind that she wanted this bestie standing by her side as a maid of honor on her wedding day!
Kristina
Kristina and Alysia became friends back in middle school but became inseparable in university during their undergrads at UNB and went on to complete their BEd. Degrees together at STU. Everyone can benefit from having a dependable friend like Kristina in their life who is always down for anything! Alysia is excited to have her other bestie standing up with her as a maid of honor!
Alex
Austin and Alex met while attending NBCC Miramichi for welding. It was during this time, and working together at several companies, that Alex and Austin became good friends. Alex has always been someone that Austin respects and looks up to as a friend. While they don’t see each other as often these days due to living in different cities and working in different provinces, Austin knew he had to have Alex standing up with him as his best man on his wedding day.
Evan
Austin and Evan met through Alysia and Kristina. Their common interest in trades and respect for one another (in addition to their significant others’ always being together, forcing them together as friends) was a recipe for friendship for these two! Austin is so happy to have Evan standing up with him as a groomsman on his big day!
Gentry
This ray of sunshine is Alysia and Austin’s nephew and will be their ring bearer on the wedding day! Alysia and Austin love spending time with Gentry and have enjoyed watching him develop his energetic and fun-loving personality. We are thrilled to have Gentry play a role at our wedding!
