Jenny & Adam

The farm is 15 minutes from the towns of Sultan and Monroe, 20 minutes from the nearest hospital emergency room, and up a mile past the end of the county road. On the way there you'll pass through Jenny and Adam's neighbor’s properties, who kindly ask that you keep speeds below 10 mph to reduce dust. You'll likely lose cell service temporarily, apologies especially to AT&T customers, but the farm does have wifi. Other amenities include hot water, a kitchen, and 2 working toilets. The full farm tour includes a 0.75 mile hike with an elevation gain of 100 feet, which can include a native plant species tour narrated by Jenny. The top acre is cleared and includes a tiny pond and garden, while the bottom 9 acres are forested with roads and trails cutting through the trees. Past the wetlands at the bottom of the hill is the Marckworth State Forest, home to all manner of wildlife. If you're bringing kids, know that there are 3 ponds depending on the amount of rainfall the farm has recently received, as well as countless mushrooms, berries, and wildlife to be aware of. For the wedding Adam and Jenny are currently planning to provide a large tent, as well as supplemental food preparation and restroom trailers due to the condition of the buildings on site.
