I’m Cherrod, and I’m a Florida born girl that calls many places home. As a child that grew up moving to various different states, I suppose you could say that I’m from a little bit of everywhere. I met my Australian fiance on a trip that was planned around shooting a wedding, and now one of those many places that I call home is Australia. Living in so many places has allowed me to be the adventurer and avid traveler that I would call myself. My photography venture started out with a lot of sports photography believe it or not. It was something that I did in Yearbook club for three years in High School, and eventually took on as work in my early adulthood because it allowed me to travel to different cities and experience new places — the travelholic in me just couldn’t say no! As much as I enjoyed it, I just couldn’t fill the void in my heart of not having human interaction and made the leap to a niche that allowed me to work with people more and let my creativity flow! Fast forward ten years, and I can now happily say that I love the work that I put out. I would describe my style as passionate, bold, and fun. Really I think this is how life should be lived (how I try to live mine!) and how I portray my work. In my photos, I want to capture you both for who you are, what makes you unique, what makes you guys you, and how you both portray your love for each other.
