I am a firm believer that it is important to trust and feel comfortable with the people around you on your special day, so let me tell you a little bit about me.
I have been happily married to my husband "Roadie" Pete for ten years and he often accompanies me to my ceremonies, taking charge of my equipment and playing the ceremony music if required, as well as helping to keep nervous grooms calm while waiting for their partners to arrive! I love that my job as a celebrant has become an opportunity for us both to spend more time together and meet so many lovely people, many of whom have become lifelong friends.
We have two adult sons and a very spoilt golden retriever named Murphy - and it's definitely Murphy's rules in our house! Be prepared for him to make an appearance at any meeting at my home office, but I assure you, he's a gentle giant.
As well as my work as a celebrant I have worked in many other professions over the years, including retail, an orthodontic practice, and as a croupier at the Adelaide Casino. But most recently as a dispensary technician in a local hospital pharmacy for the past six years. This role has enabled me to work with people of all ages, backgrounds and cultures and has enhanced my communication skills and creativity while indulging my passion for helping people.
In my free time I am actively involved in ballroom dancing, teaching a weekly class in modern ballroom and latin dancing, which has resulted in meeting many wonderful people and even helping some couples with their bridal dance.
I truly love what I do and I feel privileged to be a part of people's lives during their most important milestones. I would love to hear from you so please contact me to arrange an appointment to discuss your event.
