Uber and other taxi services are available from the airports, or you can pre-arrange a shuttle. ➳ Train: From central London, trains run from Euston Station to Berkhamsted every 30 minutes (the journey is approx. 40 minutes), you can then take a short taxi from Berkhamsted train station. We would recommend booking this taxi ahead of time to avoid a wait when you get to Berkhamsted! ➳ Car/Taxi from where ever in London you may be! ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ FUN FACTS ➳ This luxurious Grade I country estate and stately home, built in 1283, was once home to King Henry VIII and Princess Elizabeth I. ➳ The stunning staircase served as inspiration for the Harry Potter films. ➳ Ashridge has been featured in multiple TV shows and music videos including Sam Smith's - 'I am not here to make friends'. ➳ It takes 10 full time gardeners to maintain the breathtaking natural landscapes and beautifully sculpted gardens. ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ACCOMMODATION We really feel so grateful to all of you who are traveling from afar to celebrate our special day with us. With this in mind, one of the reasons we love Ashridge is the fact that ALL of our guests can stay on site and have an amazing celebration with us that takes limited effort once you arrive!
