Weather & Travel Tips The Yarra Valley is a cool-climate wine region, but summers can still get hot: Summer (Dec–Feb): Days often range 28°C – 35°C, with occasional heatwaves over 40°C. Evenings cool quickly to around 15–18°C. Autumn (Mar–May): Usually 15°C – 25°C, mild and colourful. Winter (Jun–Aug): Cool, often 8°C – 14°C with crisp evenings. Spring (Sep–Nov): Mild and fresh, usually 15°C – 22°C. The weather can change quickly — so be ready for “four seasons in one day”!
