What do I wear?
There’s no strict dress code- dress however you feel most comfortable. No colours are off limits.
Some of our venue and events are outdoors, so maybe avoid stilettos to save your ankles!
What to bring?
There are spa facilities, pools and hot tubs at Wilderness Reserve.
Robes will be provided but bring your own swimwear and sandals.
Can I bring a car?
Although we are providing transport from London, it’s absolutely fine to bring a car and parking will be provided.
When do I need to RSVP by?
We’d love it if you could RSVP by March 2026.
We know it’s early, but it ensures everyone will have their room booked.
If for any reason, you don’t think you can make this deadline, please let us know.
Can I bring a guest?
When you RSVP, you should be able to see if your invite has a +1!
We know everybody is travelling and so if there is somebody you’d like to bring, let us know and we’ll see if we can accommodate them.
Are there other events going on?
We know that many of you will be joining us from the US.
We would love to ensure you have the best trip possible. If you’d like to join us for some events in London, that would be great! But, if a rehearsal dinner and wedding is enough socialising, we totally get it.
We plan to arrange a dinner the Sunday before the wedding in London. Let us know on your RSVP if you’d like us to reserve you a spot, or contact us if you would like hello to arrange any other events in London.
If there’s anything else you’d like to do while you’re here- whether that’s a trip to the theatre, or visit a specific museum- let Beth know if you’d like some help booking.
How do I get there?
1) If you are based in the UK and want to drive to the wedding, the address is:
CHAPEL BARN ESTATE, Suffolk, Halesworth Rd, Halesworth IP19 0EJ
Please arrive after 3pm on the 4th August to check in, and give yourself time to be ready for our welcome dinner at 6.30pm.
2) If you are based in London or nearby, and prefer not to drive, there will be a coach to and from the wedding. The departing location and time will be confirmed nearer the time. Please let us know if you are using this so we can ensure there is space for everyone.
How is it best to get into London?
For those travelling in from the US, we’d advise travelling into Heathrow. There’s then a few options to get to your hotel:
1) The Heathrow Express train to Paddington Station. You follow the signs after landing and collecting your luggage. You can use your contactless card or Apple Pay to get onto the train. After you get off, you can either use the tube, or it’s then a short walk through the station to the taxi rank. Here you can get a black can or an uber.
2) You can also get a taxi from the airport. Either Uber, a black cab or Addison Lee is a pre booked service. It can be around 100-125 pounds depending on the exchange rate. (a note about London traffic from Brian, the gps may say you have 2 miles to go great, but eta is 30 minutes.)
