I don't see my kids on the RSVP, can I bring them?
We’re beyond excited to celebrate with all of our favorite people… well, all the grown-up ones, that is! To help everyone let loose, dance like no one’s watching, and enjoy a few extra drinks, we’ve decided to keep our wedding an adults-only (21+) affair. We hope you understand, after all, someone’s gotta keep the dance floor wild, right? Can’t wait to party with you all!
When do we need to RSVP by?
Please submit your RSVP before September 20th!
Is the ceremony outdoors?
Yes, the ceremony will be outdoors, unless we’re blessed with one of those exceedingly rare Hill Country rainstorms! But honestly, we’re not worried. We’re convinced the sun will shine for us, If we do get an unexpected downpour, we have a backup plan, so no need to stress. Either way, we’ll be together, and it’ll be perfect.
Bring your shades, your smiles, and maybe some sunscreen, that is if you burn as easily as Ivy does. We can’t wait to celebrate with you, rain or shine!
Are the wedding ceremony and the reception at the same venue?
Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be at the same venue, because honestly, we’re not fans of moving a whole gaggle of people around too much! Let’s keep it easy, and save all that moving and grooving for the dance floor.
What the heck are do the dress codes mean?
Hill Country Chic (rehearsal/welcome party)
Think: elevated casual. Sundresses, boots or sandals, button-downs, nice jeans or slacks, whatever makes you feel cute and comfortable. We’ll be mixing, mingling, and maybe dancing a little, so dress for a good time!
Western Cocktail (the big day)
Come as your best Texas self: denim welcome, boots encouraged, but make it fashion. Dress it up a bit with a fun dress, a cowboy hat, or a sharp shirt. Basically, if you'd wear it to a fun dinner with a band playing and good drinks flowing, you're good to go.
What can we bring y'all as a gift?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all! But if you’d like to contribute a little something extra, we’ve set up a honeymoon fund to help us kick off this next adventure (which you can find here on our website!) We’re excited to make memories on our trip, and any contribution, big or small, will help us get there!
No need to worry about wrapping anything (we’re not picky about the “packaging”), just a little help with our post-wedding getaway will be more than enough!
Can we take photos at the ceremony?
We’ve decided to have an unplugged ceremony, so please leave the phones and cameras in your pockets (we promise, we’ll get some great pics for you later!). Sit back, relax, and enjoy the moment with us, no distractions, just love and memories.
But don’t worry! We’ll be sharing all the beautiful photos from the day on the bride’s Facebook afterward, so you can relive the magic. Plus, we’ll have a special QR code available for you to upload your own fun snapshots from the day. We’d love to see your perspective of the celebration!
Spring Branch is kinda in the middle of nowhere, what is there to do when we aren't celebrating you?
We like to think of Spring Branch as a hidden gem! When you’re not busy celebrating us (or, you know, recovering from all the fun), there’s plenty to do in and around this charming Hill Country spot!
Outdoor Adventures:
For the nature lovers, you’ve got Blanco State Park for some hiking, picnicking, and maybe even a dip in the river. If you’re feeling adventurous, hit up The Guadalupe River, perfect for kayaking or tubing.
Food & Drink:
Hungry? You’ve got options! Head to The Screaming Goat for a local bite and to see part of the soon-to-be married couple's history, swing by The Sandras Cantina for some tasty Tex-Mex (our favorite), or get a tasty glass of wine and yummy craft food at Devine Wine. If you are looking to adventure to New Braunfels check out our favorite German cuisine (and often a live German oom-pah band) and Krause's Cafe or eat some lip smackingly delicious southern food at Gruene River Grill. Looking for something stronger? Check out Rebecca Creek Distillery for a local spirits experience, or grab a craft beer at Freetail Brewing.
Explore Nearby:
If you want to see more of the Hill Country, Gruene (yes, like Gruene Hall) is just a short drive away. History, live music, and shops that’ll make you want to spend all day there. For fun shopping, eats, drinks, and adventures Blanco, Boerne, and New Braunfels are just a short drive away. San Antonio is only 30 minutes away if you want to venture into the big city for some River Walk magic, tacos, and tequila.
Whether you’re into hiking, good food, live music, or just soaking in the small-town charm, Spring Branch has you covered. Enjoy exploring… but don’t wander off too far, we’ll need you back to party later!
