When should I RSVP?
Formal invitations will be delivered in early Spring 2025 and your RSVP is requested by May 30th.

A Note on Gifts
The most important thing to us is that you are able to celebrate with us on our wedding day! We are so grateful to have so many people traveling from near and far, so please know your presence is more than enough. If you do wish to give a gift, we will graciously accept a contribution towards our future.

What is happening the evening (27th) before?
There is nothing official happening, but if you are nearby, the Bridal Party & family will be out in Kells for a celebratory/welcome pint on the Wednesday evening, all are welcome.

What shoes should I wear?
Should the weather be nice, we plan to be outside for a good portion of the day in the beautiful countryside, which includes gravel and grass.

What’s the best way to get around in Dublin?
Dublin is easy to navigate on foot, by bus, or using the DART (local train). These are the best options for getting around the city.

Do I need to rent a car?
Renting a car is recommended if you plan to explore the countryside, as public transport may not reach smaller towns or rural areas. However, you don’t need a car in Dublin, as the city is very walkable, and parking can be expensive.

How far is the wedding venue from Dublin and the airport?
Clonabreany House is about a 70-minute drive from Dublin City Centre and a 1-hour drive from Dublin Airport.
The closest town to Clonabreany House is Kells, about a 10-minute drive away. If driving, you can reach Kells via the M3 Motorway from Dublin. Alternatively, public transport options are available (see below).

How can I get to Kells without a car?
There are two bus options to get to Kells.
From Dublin Airport: Take the 109A bus to Kells.
From Dublin City: The 109X bus departs from Busaras Station in the city centre approximately once an hour and takes about 90 minutes to reach Kells.
If you plan to use this option, please book a taxi to take you to the venue / let us know and we can help you get from Kells to the venue.
