Bodrum & Kos
*please feel free to reach out to us at any point, from planning your travel to arriving at the hotel. We truly want you to message us with any questions or needs you may have. You are coming all this way for us, and we want to make sure you are as comfortable as possible! 📍 From Bodrum (BJV) Airport 🛬 The wedding venue, Flamm Bodrum Hotel, is located about a 45-minute drive from Bodrum Airport (BJV) and only 20 minutes from Bodrum Centre. Here are the best ways to get there: 1️⃣ Private / Shared Transfer (Recommended) 🚐 This is the easiest and most cost-effective option, especially if you're arriving around the same time as other guests. Pre-booked Private Transfer: You can grab a taxi directly from the airport, but if you let us know your arrival time in advance, we can arrange a driver for you. This will often be more affordable than a standard taxi. Shared Group Transfer: If you arrive close to the same time as a few other guests, we will try to group you to arrange a shared transfer, which will be the simplest way to get directly to your accommodation. 2️⃣ Taxi 🚕 Taxis are always available right outside the airport terminal. They are a straightforward option for direct transfer, but expect to pay a slightly higher fare than a pre-booked service. 3️⃣ Havaş/Muttaş Airport Shuttles 🚌 The airport's official shuttle services (Havaş and Muttaş) are available but only run to the main bus terminals ("Otogar" in Turkish). Then, you would need to take a local minibus (dolmuş) or a taxi from the bus terminal to your accommodation. 4️⃣ Rental Car 🚗 If you want to have the freedom to explore Bodrum and the area in general, renting a car is a very sensible choice. Car rental options are available at the airport and throughout Bodrum. 📍 From Kos Airport (KGS)🛬 🛳️ For guests looking for an alternative to Bodrum Airport (BJV), flying into Kos Island International Airport (KGS) can sometimes offer a price advantage, depending on your origin country. This one involves a multi-step transfer: Airport to City Center: From Kos Airport, you'll need to use local shuttles or a taxi to get to Kos Port (the main harbour). This usually takes about 30-45 minutes. Ferry Crossing: From Kos Port, you can take a ferry directly to Bodrum Port. The crossing itself is very quick, usually about 40 minutes. ⚠️ A Crucial Warning on Timing ⚠️ Ferry schedules are heavily dependent on the season and time of day: We strongly advise checking your flight arrival time against the ferry departure schedule. Ferries generally run in the morning and afternoon/early evening. If your flight lands late, you may miss the last ferry and need to arrange an overnight stay in Kos Town. - To help you get around, here are the links to the transportation pages for each location:
