Olivia & Peterson

Well, they did, and here we are about to witness this beautiful couple get married. Peterson, originally from Brazil, is following his dream to become a doctor and is currently a dedicated medical student studying in Argentina. Beyond his intelligence and sense of humour, he has always held a deep passion for dance, music, and supporting others mentally and spiritually. Peterson’s joy for life is contagious and you can always count on him to add some sunshine to your day! Olivia, based in Bristol for many years, can be found mostly upside down, or in the rare moments she sits down, enjoying a good cup of tea. She is a prominent figure in the local breakdancing scene, surrounded by friends who share her love of movement and creativity. Olivia has spent many years performing, battling and teaching with her crew Just4Funk and b-girl duo Exception-Elle. Alongside her life as a dancer, Olivia has successfully built her own business “BSTT” as a soft tissue therapist. Those who know Olivia’s character, know that she is a caring soul, always wanting to do her best for those around her, so it’s no surprise that her and Peterson were drawn together. Though their lives seemed worlds apart, fate had other plans. A few years ago, Olivia was dancing the night away at New Year’s Eve party in Bristol, along with Peterson’s brother Wellington and sister in law Natalina. Halfway across the globe, Peterson stumbled upon a video of Olivia dancing that night on his brother’s social media. Captivated by the girl he saw, he was determined to find a way to talk to her and (because knowing Portuguese and Spanish isn't enough) began learning English over the next six months. With a bit more English under his belt, Peterson contacted Olivia and they quickly hit it off online. Their connection was instant, leading to 18 months of video calls and conversations that brought them closer despite the distance and lockdown… When the borders eventually opened, in January 2022, Peterson flew to the UK, and for the first time, they met in person at the airport. You could say it was “love at first flight!” With several more visits between them - Olivia flying to Argentina, and Peterson coming back to the UK, it culminated in a surprise proposal from Peterson by the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge in November 2023. Olivia of course said "YES!", and they've both been excitedly counting down the days to the next chapter in their love story ever since...
