Formal.

Stay hydrated. Please drink lots of water!

Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be held at Palisades Tahoe's High Camp.
What is the aerial tram?
The wedding ceremony and reception will be held at Palisades High Camp at the top of the mountain (weather permitted). The Tram will take you from the base (6200 ft) to High Camp (8200 ft). The tram takes 10 minutes.
What time do I need to get to the tram?
Please take the 4:15pm, 4:30, or 4:45pm ride to make the 5pm ceremony. Starting at 4pm, staff will be at the Ariel Tram to hand out tickets. *you will miss the ceremony if you miss the 4:45 tram*
Can I ride the tram to High Camp earlier in the day?
Yes, tram tickets include unlimited rides on August 1st, so feel free to explore. Please reach out to Dallen or Lauren to get the ticket earlier. There’s so much to enjoy at High Camp!
How will we get back down the mountain?
After the festivities, or whenever you're ready to go, the tram will run every 15 minutes to take you back down to the base.
How might weather impact the wedding day?
Our ceremony and reception will be held at the top of the mountain (tram up), weather depending. If the weather is too windy on the mountain top, we will hold the ceremony and reception at the Olympic Village Events Center, just a 5 minute walk from the Aerial Tram. If this is the case, there will be Palisades folks directing you from the Tram to the Events Center.
