FAQ
We want to try and provide you with as much information as possible prior to your arrival. If you still have questions please reach out to either Jen or Bryan and we will be happy to address your question in advance.
CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?
We love of our friend's and family's children! However, due to space restrictions we can not accommodate guests under the age of 18 on our wedding day, with the exception of children in the wedding party. We encourage you to use this evening to have a fun date night!
IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us! Our dress code is cocktail attire. No jeans, please! Wedding events take place outdoors and indoors, with plenty of air conditioning if needed indoors.
CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?
Due to the the limited capacity of our venue, we are unable to accomodate plus ones unless specifically indicated on your invitation. When you type in your name to RSVP you will see if you have a plus one! We want everyone to share in the celebration and this will ensure we are surrounded by our close family and friends. We hope you understand.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR THE CEREMONY?
The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 PM PST. We ask that you arrive 15 - 20 minutes before!
CAN I TAKE PICTURES THROUGHOUT THE CEREMONY / RECEPTION?
In order to ensure we are fully present, we will be having an "unplugged" ceremony. We request that you turn off/silence all phones during our ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture this special moment and we will be happy to send you any photos upon request! During cocktail hour / reception, please feel free to take as many pictures as you would like!
WHATS THE BAR SITUATION
We will be hosting a Toonie Bar, with craft beer, cider, limited high balls, red & white wine. Drink tickets will be provided at the table as well. Wine will also be on the tables during dinner to enjoy. We will also have multiple non-alcoholic options, along with coffee and tea, at no cost. Please ensure you bring enough cash with you as we are not able to offer card payments due to no Wi-Fi at the hall.
WHERE DO I PARK?
Steelhead Community Hall offers a large parking lot, with plenty of room for parking. Once parking is full, street parking is available. We also suggest you use a rideshare program or cab to get to and from the venue. Vehicles can be left till 11am Sunday. Please get home safe.
