Getting There
✧ Visa Information Travelling to Sri Lanka: ETA Requirements All non-Sri Lankan citizens must obtain ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) approval before entering Sri Lanka. This ETA allows a stay of up to 30 days and can be extended for an additional 60 days if needed. To apply, you’ll need a valid passport and a return ticket. A double-entry, 30-day tourist visa costs USD $50. To apply for your ETA, please visit the official ETA website: https://eta.gov.lk/slvisa/visainfo/center.jsp ✧ Flights International guests will fly into Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) in Colombo, Sri Lanka. From there, you can travel to Bentota via several convenient options. We recommend Singapore Airlines. ✧ Transportation from the Airport 1. Private Car/Taxi: Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours to 2 hours. Route: Drive to Bentota along the Southern Expressway (E01). Parking: Ample parking is available at the Cinnamon Bentota Beach Hotel. Recommendation for overseas guests: Book a taxi service or arrange a private transfer in advance for a hassle-free journey. 2. Train: Journey: Take a train from Colombo Fort Railway Station to Bentota Railway Station (Beliatta line). Duration: About 2 hours. Scenery: Offers beautiful coastal views. Tickets: Can be purchased at the station or online. 3. Bus: Duration: About 2.5 to 3 hours.
