When do we need to RSVP by?
Please submit your RSVP before 16th of January.
Will the wedding take place indoors?
The ceremony and dancing will take place indoors. We are hoping that the weather will permit us to have parts of the wedding reception outside, but there is the option to celebrate indoors as well.
Is there a dress code?
Our dress code is 'summer wedding', so we encourage elegant and seasonally festive attire!
Most importantly, we want everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy the celebration. Northumberland can be surprisingly chilly, even in the summer, so we advise you keep an eye on the weather forecast and bring a shawl or jacket just in case.
Are children invited to the wedding?
We’re excited to celebrate our special day with all of our loved ones! To ensure everyone can relax and enjoy the festivities, we kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only affair. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to share this joyous occasion with you!
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to limited space, we kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation attend. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
What is a Northumbrian Ceilidh?
A Northumbrian ceilidh (pronounced “kay-lee”) is a lively, traditional social dance rooted in the folk heritage of North East England. It features upbeat music and group dances led by a caller who guides everyone through the steps. No dance experience is needed, the focus is on fun and bringing people together!
Will there be a bar?
We'll be providing drinks throughout the day, followed by a cash bar once the dancing starts at the wedding reception!
