FAQs
Is the wedding ceremony and the reception at the same venue?
Yes, both the ceremony and seated reception will be held at the same venue.
What is the arrival time and ceremony time again?
Arrive from 3pm onwards for a 3:30pm ceremony.
Are children invited to the wedding?
We're excited to celebrate our special day with all of our loved ones! To ensure everyone can relax and enjoy the festivities, we kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only affair.
Will there be transport to and from the venue?
No transport is provided as the location is central to plenty of ubers and taxis within the area. Martin Place station is also a 5-minute walk away and the lightrail is a 10-minute walk away at Townhall.
The dress code is formal but what should I wear?
For men, suits and ties are the vibe. For women, long dresses encouraged. For extra inspiration, the brief we've given our florist is moody elegance, if you're feeling the vibe this is welcome but not essential. Note: stiletto heels are not recommended due to the grass and sandstone courtyard.
Will the wedding be indoors or outside?
Both ceremony and reception will be outdoors.
Will I be able to take photos/videos during the ceremony?
Sorry, we are going unplugged for our ceremony. This just leaves all of the best photos up to the professionals without phones in the shots.
I'm thinking of driving-in, will there be parking?
There is on-street parking on Hospital Rd, or at the Domain Carpark which has a flat-rate after 5pm on the weekend. The carpark is a 7min walk from the location. Just be weary you will not be able to enter from the back of The Mint.
Is there any other information we should know?
Yes, due to the historic location, red wine will only be served at the table.
