Wherever you are traveling from, Buenos Aires is very much on the other side of the world. We highly recommend taking direct flights, as these usually go overnight and will allow you to arrive somewhat rested. There are 2 main airports in Buenos Aires: Ezeiza (EZE) and Aeroparque (AEP). Ezeiza (EZE) is Buenos Aires's main international airport. It's a 45 min to 1:15 hour drive to Recoleta, depending on traffic. Aeroparque (AEP) is a much closer drive, (15-20 min) and can be an option through certain regional connections. In either airport you can either take an Uber or taxi to get to the city. If arriving in EZE, right after walking out of customs, there is a car service stand called “Tienda Leon” which is very reliable.
