RSVP
If you’re unable to make it, we absolutely won’t be offended, but we’d really appreciate it if you could let us know as soon as you can. We’ve got a limited guest list and would love to invite a few more friends if space allows. Thanks so much!
No gifts required
We’re so excited to celebrate our big day with you. We don’t expect any gifts, just having you there means the world to us. But if you’d like to gift something, we’ve set up a honeymoon fund. Any contribution would be genuinely appreciated.
FAQs
How do I get to the venue?
Driving: Please drive down Haslams Lane from Alfreton Road. As you reach the Darley Abbey Mills, you will see a large sign on your left for The West Mill – this takes you to the main car park. Google Maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/pFZYvtrXitjMk3fFA What3words: ///lock.riches.tonic
Is there parking at the venue?
There is a free car park at the venue with 80 spaces. As spaces are limited, we encourage carpooling or using taxis where possible.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes, the venue has a lift and accessible toilets. If you have specific access needs, let us know on your RSVP form or get in touch directly as we want to make the day as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
I'm neurodivergent, will there be a quiet space?
Yes. The venue is spread over four floors, and at any given time there will always be at least one floor not in use. You’re very welcome to head there for a breather whenever you need. Our photographer Simon Dewey is also a specialist in photographing neurodivergent weddings.
What’s the dress code?
We’d love for you to wear whatever makes you feel great. The day will be smart but relaxed so no need for black tie unless that's your thing! A bit of personality is very welcome, whether that’s something quietly elegant or full Leigh Bowery.
Can I wear black?
Yes. Wear what makes you feel beautiful/handsom/both.
Can I bring a plus one?
Our guest list is quite tight, so we’re only able to accommodate the people named on your invitation. If you’re unsure, just drop us a message.
Can I bring children?
We kindly ask that you only bring children if you need to. It’s a long day, and things may get quite loud (and boozy!) in the evening. That said, we do love kids, and if your child has been specifically invited, we’re very happy for them to attend.
I'm bringing my baby, what facilities will be available?
A quiet space will be available throughout the day for feeding, nappy changes, or simply taking a break. Accessible toilets with baby-changing facilities are provided, and there’s a buggy parking area near the stairs and toilets on the Ground Floor. If you’re attending the wedding breakfast, high chairs will be available at your table. If there’s anything specific that would help you and your baby feel more comfortable on the day, please let us know in advance via the RSVP form or by getting in touch directly.
Should I bring confetti?
We’ve got that covered. We’re using biodegradable confetti that’s been approved by the venue and little boxes of it will be available before the confetti walk, just after the ceremony.
What will be the vibe of the evening?
There’ll be music, dancing, and drinks, we’re planning a relaxed, joyful night. It's a celebration rather than a formal event so wear shoes you can dance in.
