Our Kind of Chaos
Hi, we’re Theo & Sonja – and this is Tao Tao, our 50kg third wheel (Rottweiler, not child). We’re the couple who can (and will) turn anything into a competition, laugh until our stomachs hurt, and always say yes to a good wine bar. Our story kicked off while puppy-sitting a friend’s Rottie. We looked at each other and said, “How hard can it be?” Spoiler: VERY. Since then, we’ve crammed a lot into a whirlwind romance: starting our own businesses, moving in together, wrangling a dog the size of a small horse, and meeting each other’s families – all while figuring out what it means to really show up for one another. It hasn’t always been smooth sailing, but we’ve learned that the best parts of love come from doing the work, having the hard convos, and still choosing each other (even mid-competitive Monopoly game). We’ve decided to keep things simple: the official “legal stuff” will happen quietly during the day. The real event? That’s where you come in. Think of this less like a formal wedding, and more like the best dinner party you’ve ever been to – with us picking up the tab. We just want you to show up, raise a glass, eat something delicious, and celebrate the fact that we’ve chosen each other forever. Where will this all unfold? Let’s just say… expect red sauce, checkered floors, and a little slice of Gertrude Street magic. If you know, you know. 🍝🍷 So come hungry, come thirsty, and come ready to celebrate with us – no speeches, no stress, just good food, good wine, and all of our favourite people in one room.
