The Venue
Located in on the outskirts of Saltwood within the heart of the Kent Downs, an Area of Outstanding Beauty - and not far from where we call home - is where you'll find the picturesque setting of Hayne House, its Orangery and Hunting Lodge. We felt that the location and natural landscape of the venue perfectly encapsulated why we chose this area of Kent to be our home and what better way to show it off then picking the perfect example!

Things To Do
The celebration continues on the Friday. We will let you all know a meeting point for Friday afternoon once we know what the great British weather has in store for us all but no doubt this will be somewhere in the harbour area where everyone can grab drinks and food
at their leisure.
For those of you staying over the weekend there is lots of activities to chose from including:
On Friday evening the Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony is live at the Harbour Goods Yard.
On Saturday it's Folkestone Pride up along The Leas Bandstand.
On Sunday it's the return of “Kate Bush Day” on the Harbour Arm. Don't forget to pack your red dress!!!
If you walk down the Zig Zag path from the Leas you can turn left to walk down to the harbour area where you will find crazy golf, beach bars and the harbour area.
An alternative route is to walk along the Leas and weave through the Bayle by St Mary and St Eanswythe Church to reach the creative quarter (old high street) where you will find places to eat, as well as lots of independent shops selling art, homewares and clothing. There is a great vintage shop called Bounce where there is normally some great pieces of vintage clothing for much less than what you would pay in London.
Those of you staying longer may want to explore the Warren where it is possible to walk along the coastal path to Dover (check tide times) or hire bikes to follow a pretty flat coastal ride down to Dungeness.
The Hythe to Dungeness light railway is a fun trip where you will see an array of wildlife from sheep to alpacas.

For those choosing not to stay, Sandling train station is nearby Hayne House, offering hourly services into London (Charing Cross, London Bridge, London Waterloo, Stratford, and St Pancras Intl stations).
