Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Indoors. The ceremony, breakfast and reception take place indoors but there are outside spaces available, for our guests to enjoy.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes. There are lifts available to every floor.
Gifting
Nothing is expected. Your presence at our wedding is gift enough. However, if you would like to give something, we’ve put together a gift list for your convenience. You can find it here on our website under 'Gift List'.
Photographs and social media.
Please do not take photographs or video footage during our wedding ceremony.
Feel free to take photos throughout the rest of the day — we’d absolutely love to see them! You can share your favorite moments with us right here on our website under the section “Share Your Photos With Us.”
What is the dress code?
Smart Formal. Suites and ties for the gentlemen and cocktail dresses or gowns for the ladies. Big hats very Welcome.
Will there be an open bar?
No. Guests may purchase drinks from the bar, which excepts both card and cash. There is no ATM on site.
Will food be served at the reception?
Yes. Light food will be served to our evening guests. More details to follow.
Can I bring a plus one?
No. Due to venue restrictions all guests will have received individual invitations.
Are children allowed?
While we love your little ones, we’ve decided to have a child-free wedding so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We hope you understand and can join us for a fun, grown-up celebration!
How to get to the wedding.
Please see your invite for the Snape Maltings address.
By car:
From the A12, take the A1094 signposted towards Snape Maltings. Turn right at Snape Church onto the B1069, then continue through the village of Snape before turning left into Snape Maltings.
By train:
Saxmundham (4 miles) which is on the East Suffolk Ipswich – Lowestoft train line.
Will transport be provided?
No. Please feel free to make your own group arrangements.
Is onsite parking available?
Yes, There will be plenty of dedicated parking available in the Snape Maltings visitors car park. You will be directed where to park on the day.
