Our Love Story
Nick and Lauren met back at the start of 2020 on Plenty of Fish, and after a short while of chatting, agreed to meet up for their first date at 1812 in Bournemouth on the 17th of February.
They couldn’t keep away from each other in the following weeks. Before they knew it, weeks rolled into months, then months rolled into years. Then on their two year anniversary, on a short break away in Wales (during the triple storms) Nick got down on one knee… and of course, Lauren said yes!

part of the day it would best fit.
Where to stay
If you wanted to stay nearby, there are a number of AirBnB’s on Hayling Island, as well as a number of hotels. Here are a few potential options to look up:
- Mill Rythe Coastal Village
- Langstone Quays Hotel
- Newtown House Hotel
- Premier Inn Portsmouth Havant South (Langstone/A27)
Remember to look up taxi’s and pre-book your transport to and from the venue ahead of time.
Alternatively, there is a camp site at the venue,
and for a pitching fee, you can bring your tent or camper along and set up on the day.
(As long as we have left by 10am the next day)
What to wear
This is a festival!!!
Be comfortable
Dress appropriately to participate in a bit of fun
(if you want to)
A lot of the day will be on grass areas,
so think about your footwear
Be prepared for potential typical British weather!
(We have contingencies for a rainy day, but be ready!)
Gifts
We know it's not traditional,
and not the way it's done,
But rather than a wedding gift,
we'd like a bit of sun!
So if you'd like to give us something,
and send us on our way,
A donation to our honeymoon
would really make our day!

Is that you're with us to raise a toast!
