Our Love Story
Melissa and Sezer met back in February 2017 during the London Koç Alumni event that Sezer and Murat (the officiant) were hosting. As soon as Melissa entered the room, Sezer asked Murat - "Who's this girl". It was up to Murat to start the match making. Finally after three long years, Sezer eventually kissed Melissa with a cheesy pick up line. "Taste me (bi tadıma bak) before you say no". Since then, Melissa and Sezer cannot get enough of each other. They are living happily ever after.

Gift
The most important thing to us is that you're able to come and celebrate our wedding. However if you wish to give us a gift, we would graciously accept either the customary Turkish traditional coins or a contribution towards our honeymoon fund. " In Turkish tradition, it is customary to gift newlyweds gold coins on their wedding day. When a couple gets married, a gold coin is offered as a gift by friends and families to help starting off a good, prosperous future. Typically, a 'ceyrek' (cheyrek) (quarter) coin, a 'yarım' (half), or a 'tam' (full) can be given as a gift depending on the greater or lesser closeness of the guests." The gold coins are found at every jeweler in Turkey. However, for our guests coming from abroad that wish to contribute to our honeymoon fund instead, please see our honeymoon account below. FAQ
For RSVP, Schedule and Accommodation, please see above in case you have scrolled too fast;) 1. Is there a dress code? Well first of all, it is a beach wedding so let's keep it colorful. It is going to be hot, there will be sand and you're going to dance. Soo, the ladies, if you have to wear heels, recommending wearing block heels and bring your sandals (dancing shoes). For Gentlemen, we highly recommend linen suits and shades to keep yourself 'cool'. You might need a shawl during after party on the beach as it might get a bit windy. 2. Can we bring our kids? We understand that it can be difficult for babies under 2 years old. However, as we cannot promise how well-behaved we will be, let's put the beasts (2+ years old) in bed so that you don't need to be well-behaved either :) 3. Is there a parking space? Yes. 4. How am I going to get to my Hotel or the Venue (Selvi Hotel) from Bodrum Airport (BJV)? It takes 40 min by car. If you are 2 or more people, we recommend you taking a taxi. Otherwise, get in touch with Melissa and/or Sezer and we will try to organize a ride with our local friends. 5. When do you recommend us to come to Bodrum and how long to stay? We highly recommend you to come at least the day before (Sep 19), and spend Friday and Saturday with us as our Schedule suggests ;) 6. Will there be a time-gap between the wedding ceremony and Reception? The Turks know the drill. For our international friends, be prepared to take no breaks at all. It is simply from ceremony to dinner, dinner to dance, dance to more dance :) 7. I still have more questions about your wedding? Who can I contact? Simple. If you know Sezer, call Sezer. If you know Melissa, call Melissa. If you know us both, pick your favourite :)
