Megan & Ciaran

Megan and Ciaran first met through old fashioned Irish matchmaking (Rhoda, Claire, and Paul) in March 2021 during the Covid-19 pandemic. They had both been single for some time and were excited to meet someone new. Megan was instantly attracted to Ciaran’s sense of humor and his skill in making cocktails. Ciaran, on the other hand, was drawn to Megan’s beautiful eyes and how easy it was to talk to her. They hit it off right away, but Megan had to fly off to Kenya and Sudan for 4 months for work and to finish her PhD research. So, their unique love story began to unfold over Zoom and WhatsApp chats until Megan returned to Ireland (and finished quarantining for 10 days) so they could date in-person. The more time they spent together, the more they began to fall in love. Megan was taken by Ciaran’s big heart and his desire to help businesses across Ireland and the UK have cleaner air and working environments. Ciaran, in turn, was captivated by Megan’s kindness and her willingness to help people deal with all kinds of conflicts. In February 2022, Ciaran proposed to Megan at home. Megan and Ciaran are now happily engaged and looking forward to the day when they can finally say “I do.” They are so grateful for the matchmakers that brought them together and are excited for the future that awaits them, especially with their new bundle of joy set to make their appearance in April (Megan is pregnant!).
