Frequently Asked Questions
To help make your planning easier, we have answered some common questions below. If you have any further questions, please reach out to either one of us.
When do we need to RSVP by?
Please submit your RSVP no later than 31st May.
What will the weather be like?
Late October is springtime in Australia, with temperatures ranging from 18 °C to 25 °C.
Whilst spring weather is often unpredictable in Victoria, we are hoping for a beautiful, sunny day. If all goes to plan, our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors. The reception will be indoors.
What should I wear?
There's no specific theme or dress code, we just ask that everyone dresses up to celebrate the occasion.
A quick note for anyone in heels - the reception area has a brick floor, but don't worry the dance floor is even! The bridal party will be dressed in black.
Are gifts expected or optional?
We are so grateful you're joining us, especially with the travel involved! Gifts are entirely optional, so please don't feel any pressure. If you'd like to gift something, you'll find details in our Honeymoon Fund section.
Are there other events happening during the wedding weekend?
If you'd like to join us the night before, we'll be having drinks at the Mitchelton Hotel. A chance for everyone to meet, mingle, and catch up before the big day.
Additionally, we're planning a mini Recovery on Sunday at Nagambie Brewery. The perfect way to cap off the wedding weekend! More information will be shared closer to the date.
Can I bring a plus-one?
Please understand that we are only able to accomodate guests named on the invitation.
