Our Wedding
On our wedding day, it will have been 3,576 days since our first kiss, just 76 days shy of ten years. Nearly a decade in the making, this day feels all the more special for the journey that brought us here. We chose a destination wedding in Fiji as family travel is something close to our hearts, and we love the idea of forever associating this beautiful place with where we tied the knot. We understand that travelling overseas isn’t possible for everyone, and we are so grateful for your love and support, whether near or far.
Accommodation Information
Our wedding will be held at the Shangri-La Yanuca Island Fiji, and guests are warmly invited to book their stay at the resort if they wish. For those who prefer alternative accommodation, there are plenty of options on the mainland and closer to Nadi Airport. Guests staying elsewhere can arrange transport to and from the wedding, with an approximate travel time of 40–50 minutes. To avoid the travel and fully embrace Yanuca Island, we recommend staying directly at the Shangri-La. Link below. Please note, accommodation is not available to book until 1 year prior to stay dates.

What are the different accommodation options?
Shangri-La offers several different accommodation sections to suit everyone’s preferences: Reef Wing – An adults-only wing, ideal for those wanting a quieter and more private stay. Ocean Wing – Recently refurbished, modern rooms with beautiful ocean views (this is where we’ll be staying!). Family-friendly accommodation options are also available within the resort for those travelling with children. No matter which wing you choose, all areas of the resort offer easy access to the wedding ceremony and reception.
Are children invited to the wedding?
Children are welcome only if they are named on your invitation. Some parents may wish to enjoy the day child-free, so in-room nanny services are available through the Shangri-La or via Bula Smiles Nanny Services Fiji (other companies with reviews on Facebook) for your convenience.
When do we need to RSVP by?
Please submit your RSVP before 2nd October 2026.
Are the wedding ceremony and the reception at the same venue?
Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue.
Can we extend our holiday and join you after the wedding?
Absolutely! We’ll be staying at the Shangri-La Fiji until Monday and then we’ll be heading to Plantation Island Resort. Anyone wishing to stay on and join us is more than welcome! If Plantation Island isn’t on your to-do list, we encourage you to explore some of the other beautiful resorts and islands Fiji has to offer.
Where do we fly into?
Fly into Nadi International Airport. There are direct flights available from most major departure cities.
How do we get to Shangri-La Yanuca Island?
Contact the resort with your arrival details, and they can arrange transfers for you. Private transfers are also available and can be easily booked online.
