Our Love Story
Ambert and Lily first connected on the Coffee Meets Bagel dating app, and met for the first time in September 2020 for drinks (and ramen, Ambert had booked a table at a restaurant nearby in case the date went well). Lily and Ambert were both intrigued by the depth of their conversation and their connection after only the first date. They couldn't stop thinking about each other. From there, they started a whirlwind of dating, moved in with each other right before another round of covid lockdowns started, enjoyed their lockdown bubble, went on roadtrips chasing sunsets and travelling the world together, bought a house, got a Samoyed puppy called Mochi... then in May 2025, Ambert proposed at one of their first date locations, and Lily said Yes!

What is the dress code?
Our wedding will be a formal affair. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit (tie optional), while ladies can opt for a floor-length gown or formal cocktail dress. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!
When is the RSVP deadline?
Formal RSVPs will be sent out in a few months. Please make sure to submit your RSVP by 30 November 2026.
Are the wedding ceremony and the reception at the same venue?
Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue. When you arrive at Ottimo House, please follow the signage for the Bower Room. The ceremony will be held at the garden adjacent to the Bower Room. Please arrive at 3:30pm for the 4:00pm ceremony, reception at the Bower Room to follow.
Are children invited to the wedding?
We’re excited to celebrate our special day with all of our loved ones! To ensure everyone can relax and enjoy the festivities, we kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only affair. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to share this joyous occasion with you!
Can I bring a plus-one?
We wish we could celebrate with everyone and their loved ones, but our guest list is limited due to space and budget. For that reason, we're only able to accommodate the guests listed on the invitation.
Is there a wedding gift registry?
Your gift of love and support is all we need on our special day. However, if you would like to give a gift, we will have a wishing well available at our reception.
Is there parking available at the venue?
Yes! There will be plenty of free parking available at the venue. Recommended modes of transport are driving, or taking an Uber / rideshare to and from the venue.
