Are children invited to the wedding?
To ensure everyone can relax and enjoy the festivities, our wedding is an adults-only affair. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to share this joyous occasion with you!
How far is the reception from the ceremony?
Bougainvillea House is just a short Uber ride or a lovely 20 minute walk along the Brisbane River from the Cathedral precinct.
What if I have dietary requirements?
Please be sure to list any dietaries on your RSVP. We will do our best to accommodate.
Is there a dress code and what should I wear?
Black Tie. This means a tuxedo for the men and floor-length dresses for the ladies.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to our wedding being an intimate gathering, we are regrettably unable to cater for plus-ones unless specified on your invitation.
Can we take photos at the ceremony?
We've hired an amazing wedding photographer who will be capturing the entire ceremony, and we promise to share the professional photos! Please keep your cameras/phones tucked away; we just want to see your happy faces.
Gifts
We know many of you will be travelling to attend our wedding, and your presence on our special day is all we could ask for. For those who wish to give a gift, a wishing well will be available on the day.
