Love Story
Jake and Lauren met in November of 2017, thanks to their friend Gabrielle, who was determined to get them together. Their first date was at a Saint John Sea Dogs game, where they got on the 'kiss cam'.
Lauren was too shy to have their first kiss on camera and left poor Jake hanging. They still laugh about it to this day.
Since then they truly could not stay apart. Lauren followed Jake to Fredericton during University, where they each lived with their friends. Soon after, they moved into their first apartment together and adopted their first baby, Nell. It's still in question if it was Lauren who permanently stole Jake's heart, or the cat.
On March 4th, 2024 while on a cruise with Jake's family, Jake popped the question in the Bahamas and Lauren was never more sure of a YES! They spent the next 2 years engaged, welcomed their sweet puppy Pip and bought their first home in Grand Bay-Westfield. To say their world has been full of happiness and love would be an understatement.
Finally, the day they have been waiting for is almost here! They cant wait to share the next chapter of their love story with you.
