Blackthorpe Barn, Blackthorpe, Bury St Edmunds, IP30 9JG The venue entrance is just off of the A14, past Ravenwood Hotel and a sharp left at the end of the junction. Please park in the large overflow car park at the end of the drive, not in front of the barn. Cars may be left overnight at your own risk. --- THE CEREMONY For daytime guests please arrive between 11.45am and 12.00pm ready to be seated by 12.15 for the ceremony. Please note our beautiful dogs, Willow and Watson, will be attending during the day, but please no distractions during the ceremony, you can say hello after!! The ceremony will be unplugged, let the photographer do his work - no photos to be taken. No photos of the bride and groom to be shared on social media throughout the day, until we have shared our first photo as Mr & Mrs. --- WEDDING BREAKFAST We aim to be seated by 15.45pm for speeches and our delicious meal. — EVENING GUESTS Evening guests can start to arrive from 7pm onwards. The party will commence promptly with our first dance around 8pm! Finishing at 11.30pm. Please arrange your own accommodation and taxis.
Dress Code
Come smart, comfortable and where possible bold and colourful or pattern! We want to see an array of colours. The venue has lots of gravel and meadow areas outdoors, so ladies bear in mind your choice of shoes. (Please note we are hoping for some hot weather, so please remember sun protection!) Our bridal colours are below for you to kindly avoid.
