Josh and Amber’s story began in 2016, on a night that neither of them will ever forget. Introduced by a mutual friend, they quickly connected. For Josh, there was an undeniable feeling that he had just met the woman he was meant to spend the rest of his life with. But life, as it often does, had other plans. What followed was something truly special, a friendship that became the cornerstone of both their lives. Josh and Amber supported each other through highs and lows, growing closer with every passing day. There was a deep respect and understanding between them, a bond that was rare and unshakeable. As the years went by, they remained close, never letting go of the connection they had forged. Then, in a twist of fate that only the universe could orchestrate, their paths aligned perfectly. Finally, the love that had always been there, waiting patiently, was allowed to flourish. The challenges of the pandemic only made their bond stronger. What might have been a test for some, brought them even closer together. It wasn’t long before their little family, which always felt like it was meant to be, came together naturally and effortlessly. And now, after all these years, the day they’ve both been waiting for has arrived. Josh and Amber are thrilled to be celebrating this moment with the people who have supported and loved them along the way. Though it may have taken longer than Billie would have liked, today is the day they finally say “I do,” surrounded by those who mean the most.

Our vision for the day is centered around a lunchtime garden party, where we can savor the best part of the day together. We want to enjoy great wines, delicious food, and, most importantly, the company of those who mean the most to us. While we’re breaking with some traditions, we’ve held onto the ones that matter most to us, which is why we are inviting children to join us for this special occasion. The Garden Party will be our wedding reception, but in the spirit of keeping things relaxed, we’re keeping formalities to a minimum so that everyone can truly enjoy the venue, the wine, and each other’s company. Even though the event is black-tie, our hope is that it will feel elegant yet comfortable—a reflection of who we are and how we love to celebrate. For those who know us well, you’ll know that we’re always up for a good drink and a dance. So, we faced a little dilemma: how could we create a space for those who want to keep the party going, like Billie? That’s why we’ve designed the day with a short break after the Garden Party. This gives parents a chance to take their little ones home or to the hotel to a sitter (if they wish) and return for an evening celebration that’s more laid-back. You can swap your formal wear for something more comfortable and join us for a few more hours of food, drinks, and dancing. No formalities—just fun. We want this day to be filled with warmth, love, and joy, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you all!

We are delighted to welcome your little and bigger ones to our special day! Children are warmly invited to join us for both the ceremony and the garden party that follows. We’ve planned some fun lawn games to keep them entertained, and there will be kid-friendly catering as well. While the event is black-tie, we encourage everyone to embrace the occasion with a touch of elegance. For the evening celebrations, we’re keeping things more relaxed, and kids are also welcome to join in the festivities. However, we understand that some parents may prefer to have a little adult time. To accommodate this, we’ve scheduled a short break between the garden party and the evening celebration, giving you the option to take your children home to a sitter before returning to dance into the evening. We want everyone, big and small, to enjoy the day in the way that suits them best, and we can’t wait to share this special occasion with you, yours and our families!

We’re pleased to offer convenient transportation options for our guests. Buses will be provided from both Busselton and Dunsborough, with multiple stops along the way, to ensure everyone can easily join us for the ceremony. Departure times will vary, starting from 10am, depending on the number of stops, and the buses will return to the same stops, and to the Hilton, after the Garden Party. We will finalise and confirm the specific pickup and drop-off locations once we’ve received all RSVPs. Our goal is to make your journey as smooth as possible, so you can focus on enjoying the day with us!

We feel incredibly fortunate to have everything we need (in storage) for our home and our life together. Your presence on our special day is truly the best gift we could ask for. However, if you do wish to honor us with a gift, a contribution towards our next family home would be warmly appreciated. There will be a wishing well at Clairault on the day.
