Our Love Story
Caleb grew up in Guelph until 2006 when his family moved to Ajax and attended the same church where Jaclyn's family had been attending for years. They both happened to go to the same high school in different years, and so never crossed paths. It wasn't until Jaclyn returned from university in 2021 that a spark was caught between the two love birds. After a few weeks turned into a few months, and a few months turned into a few years...the slow burn was over and they agreed their connection was too strong to pass up! They made it official and started dating in April of 2023 and have not looked back since! Falling more madly in love with one another through their shared passion for sports, faith, family, and of course each other!
In October 2024, there were secrets being kept, decks being "built", and a whole army of people counting down the seconds for Jaclyn to arrive. Little did she know, on October 11th 2024, that a small walk down memory lane, at a place that means so much to her, would end on a pontoon ride to an island, surrounded by stars, and the love of her life on his knee. She said...yes!
Cue the fireworks...we're engaged! We cannot wait to celebrate the big day with all of you on October 4th 2025!
