Are children invited to the wedding?
We're excited to celebrate our special day with all of our loved ones! To ensure everyone can relax and enjoy the festivities, we kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only affair. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to share this joyous occasion with you!
Are the wedding ceremony and the reception at the same venue?
Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue - Stirk House Hotel, Gisburn, Clitheroe BB7 4LJ
What is the dress code?
The dress code is formal wedding attire. We are planning for our ceremony to be outside (fingers crossed!), so please bear in mind that you will need appropriate footwear for grass - we're looking at you ladies!
Is there parking?
Yes, the hotel does have on site parking.
What time should I arrive?
Please aim to arrive no later than 1:30pm as the ceremony will begin promptly at 2pm. You are welcome to arrive earlier than this if you wish!
Can I take and post photos?
We will be having an unplugged ceremony, so we ask that no photos are taken during the ceremony as we have a fantastic photographer to take care of this for us! You are welcome to take photos throughout the rest of the day and evening, however we kindly ask that you do not post any photos of us to social media until we have had the opportunity to do so ourselves.
