Our Love Story
It all began with a photo shared by their close friend Andrea on her story in March 2020. It was love at first sight for Isidro, with him immediately dreaming and joking with his mates that he would one day marry her. Months later, in September, Andrea hosted a lunch gathering that merged her high school and college friends, with Isidro and Alyanna belonging to each of these groups. Thus, marking Chester Street as the place where Alyanna and Isidro met for the first time. After months of continuous back-and-forth messaging and building their friendship since then, Isidro decided to traditionally court Alyanna, bringing gifts to her at work and to her family. On Easter Sunday in 2021, after a sweet day at Balmoral Beach, Isidro dropped Alyanna home and asked, "What are you doing on Wednesday night?" Alyanna, understanding his hint, excitedly agreed to an official date. On April 7th, 2021, Isidro arrived at Alyanna's front door with a thoughtfully arranged bouquet of flowers, thanking her father, Alan for his blessing. It was a beautifully planned evening, filled with prepared questions, a plan to give Alyanna his jacket, and a stroll along the river, gelato in hand. This day not only marked their first date but also the day they officially became a couple. Fast forward two years and seven months, Isidro, having waited on God's timing, proposed to Alyanna in Vaucluse, Sydney - against the backdrop of the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. It was a beautiful symbol of the city they both grew up in & fell in love in. They now find themselves dreaming & planning for their wedding and shared future. Their hearts brimming with joy, they eagerly anticipate the celebration of their union with their closest loved ones - in the Philippines, a place they fondly call their second home.
