Our Love Story
Hugo and Jasmin's journey to marriage began at DBH Lawyers, where Hugo, in his meticulous nature, asked Jasmin to organize some folders; he then promptly complained they were dirty and needed redoing. Jasmin thought his fussiness was downright ridiculous, and the two went their separate ways without much further thought.
Fast forward a few years, and they crossed paths again at a lively 40th plus one birthday party. With a drink (or 10) under his belt, Hugo decided it was high time to have a crack at impressing Jasmin, while she, looking to avoid an expensive Uber ride home, figured she’d entertain his efforts.
This adventure culminated (for now) in a chaotic yet heartfelt proposal in Tokyo. Jasmin, suspecting what was coming, wasn’t surprised when Hugo, nervous and ill-prepared, nearly lost the ring while fumbling in front of what he likes to describes as a "Moonlit Lake" (but what was really a smelly pile of water). Despite the mishaps, his heartfelt words melted her heart, and she said yes, sealing their love story with laughter and joy.
