Will there be a reception?
Lunch will be provided at AMBLER TEXAS KITCHEN INSIDE HOTEL CONTESSA. Please feast! Brunch and drinks will be provided.
What colors will the wedding be
Dark berries and pinks with a touch of Marigold
What color should I wear
Anything but black and/or white ! Keep it bright and festive ! It’s during Fiesta!
What time should we arrive at the wedding?
Arrive by 9:30
Will it be an outdoor wedding?
Yes, it will be outdoor. There will be indoor accommodations as this wedding will be held in the backyard of Faith and Robbie’s home.
Will there be seating?
You will have the option to stand or sit as the wedding party will be very small. This is considered a micro wedding. So the ceremony portion will be no longer than 20 minutes.
Where do we park?
Park anywhere along the street in front of the home and across the street is fine as well. The house is on the corner so there is parking along that street and the street adjacent.
What are the plans after we eat?
James and Hope are free until 4 PM. They will leave to take pictures at the Mission San Jose. This is a public attraction where all are invited. Feel free to stay downtown if preferred and enjoy the San Antonio festivities as there will be a lot of public celebration to attend due to it being fiesta in San Antonio. Or take the evening easy and rest. Be safe driving and feel free to stop at the bride and grooms home to rest if needed. After Hope and James finish photos they may choose to go home and rest or still have energy to celebrate the night away downtown.
May I bring a plus one
Unfortunately, there is limited space in the ceremony and reception as we want to keep this a micro wedding and a typical wedding party would be too small to accommodate

We will have a lovely wedding photographer present during the ceremony 10:30-11:15 but we want as many memories as possible from family. Feel free to record memories. Just be mindful of photographer and her shot view. Don’t forget to send to Us .
Our Love Story
Hope and James met April 2025. Hope was the primary hospice nurse for James late best friend. They bonded during their care for Terry and the love was undeniable and instantaneous. Their friendship blossomed into true love. Weeks turned into months, and after six months together, in December of last year, James got down on one knee. Hope said yes.
