The Love Story
Picture this: university, where the air is thick with the scent of textbooks and the promise of caffeine-fueled all-nighters. Our tale begins with a chance encounter orchestrated by the mischievous hands of fate (and a few meddling friends). She, a vision of beauty with a penchant for sarcasm, stumbled upon him in the midst of a study session. His charm? As bright as his future, with a side of nerdiness that made her heart skip a beat. Cue the sparks! Fast forward to our love-struck duo, and their shared love for music, travel, food and drink. And let's not forget Ronnie, their faithful canine companion, howling along in perfect pitch. But hold onto your hats, folks, because here comes the plot twist! On a chilly evening in London, he decides to whisk her away on a romantic adventure to the Greenwich viewing point. "Little did she know", this wasn't just any stroll in the park. Despite his fumbling nerves, love triumphed in the end. And so, they embarked on a journey filled with DIY disasters, travel mishaps and a lifetime of loving each other. So here's to us, the dynamic duo, and partners in laughter. As we head down the aisle towards happily ever after, let's raise a glass to love, laughter, and Laura & Gilbert.

The reception will be a cocktail-styled event so there will be no assigned seating. Grab a seat anywhere and mingle!

George Banks has welcomed us until midnight so we will start to wrap up the party around 11:30pm. We are walking distance to Toowoomba's other night life spots for those who want to party on.
General FAQs

While kids bring life to a party, we've opted for an adults-only affair to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration.
Can I bring a plus one?
We kindly request that only those who have been explicitly invited to join us on the day be present due to venue space constraints.
How should I get there?
You will be required to source private transport to both the ceremony location and the reception venue, which are less than 10 minutes apart.
What are the parking options?
Both Warwick St Chapel and George Banks have limited street parking so we would advise carpooling or using rideshare options where appropriate.

This event requires formal attire. Gents, suit up! Ties and jackets (it will be cool enough). Ladies, bring out your best frocks or pantsuits.

May in Toowoomba is between 10-20 degrees but can get pretty chilly at night due to the wind.
