Our Love Story
Georgia & Ihaka first locked eyes back in 2012 New Year's at the infamous coromandel gold. Not one introduction was made or one word shared........ but 1 month later, an add on Facebook came through from Mr Steel. Georgia recognised his popular outfit in his profile picture and hesitantly accepted. After chatting for a few weeks very comfortably Ihaka took the leap and asked for Georgia's number, where she did not reply for 10 days.
After some reflection, Georgia had her first-ever #yolo moment and passed on her mobile number. From there, our mutual connection arranged for us to meet for the first time at one of Georgia's Surf Life Saving competitions. After walking around the mall, Ihaka thought "I like her short shorts" and that she was worth pursuing and Georgia thought, he was way too shy and quiet for her. However, after prospering and meeting one more time, they quickly started dating. They could not stay apart for very long as they did long distance over 1.5 years and spent most weekends together.
And now here they are 10 years later, finally taking their next steps towards making it official.
