RSVP
We do hope you have received the invitation in the post. Please do send back your RSVP card to us, but it would also be extremely helpful if you could fill in your details on this website too, by Friday, 11th July, lest anything gets lost!
Westminster Abbey - Entrance Times and Security
The entrance to St Margaret's Church is via the main public entrance to Westminster Abbey. There is currently restoration work taking place, so the public entrance will be either via Little Dean's Yard, or on Old Palace Yard. Guests must go through a brief security check: you will be shown straight to the front of the line, ahead of any tourists.
This process may take a little time, so we please ask that you arrive at the Church no later than 12.30, to ensure everyone can be seated in time for the ceremony.
The Houses of Parliament - Security
We are honoured that we are able to celebrate our wedding reception across two sections of the Parliamentary terrace, in the Palace of Westminster.
Ahead of the wedding, we will send you personalised arrival and invitation cards for the reception, and information about the security procedures for entering the Palace of Westminster.
In order to ensure we are able to move to the Reception swiftly, we would strongly advise against bringing large bags, as they will not be admitted to the Parliamentary Estate. If you have kindly bought us a large wedding present, we look forward to receiving it another time!
A full list of items that cannot be taken through security is available here: https://www.parliament.uk/visiting/access/security/
The Wedding Register
You presence is a huge present! But for those who are kindly thinking about gifts, we have registered at the Wedding Present Company.
You can find the information here: https://www.weddingpresentco.com/find-list/243141
At the reception, we will have an area for any cards or small gifts you may very kindly wish to bring along with you.
Photos and Videos
We can't wait to see your photos of the day! There are just a few moments where we hope you will understand that we will be restricting photographs to our official photographers; this includes during the ceremony at St Margaret's.
We hope the weather will provide plenty of opportunities for photographs outside, and in Parliament there are designated areas for photos, including in all of our reception venues. Please do take as many as you wish throughout the reception!
Children
We hope you will understand that, aside from our closest family and godchildren, our wedding will be for adults only.
Special arrangements will be made for nursing mothers, so please do let us know if this applies to you.
