Children
We love your kids! Although we have made the decision that our wedding will be adults only. We hope you can understand and use this as an opportunity to let your hair down!
If you would like to bring your children to Waiheke. There are a number of professional nanny services on the island for the night of the wedding.
Children are welcome at the day after event.
Gifting
We appreciate the huge effort you have made to attend our destination wedding, we know this is a large investment. Therefore, your presence is the only gift we need.
If you still wish to honour us with a gift, a contribution towards our future together would be greatly appreciated. There will be a wishing well for cards at the wedding.
Shuttle Bus Departing Mudbrick
We have organised shuttle buses to drop you safely to your accomodation or the ferry terminal after the wedding. The shuttles will be available from 10pm, with the last shuttle leaving Mudbrick at 1am.

PLEASE NOTE - You will need to arrange your own transport getting to Mudbrick before the ceremony.
We welcome you to continue the celebrations the day after our wedding at the Waiheke Bowls Club.
Gather your bowling whites and get ready for a fun afternoon in the sun, with a side of lawn bowls.
Arrive from 12:30pm, with bowls to start from 1:15pm.
We have hired the bowls club exclusively until 5:30pm, so there will be plenty of space to sit and relax. You can choose to participate in the bowls tournament or sit and relax rink side with a drink and snacks.
Catering will be provided and there is a cash bar.
Kick off from 12:30pm on the 20th March
Location: 2 Marama Avenue, Surfdale, Waiheke Island
Dress Code: Casual whites (think lawn bowls vibes)
If you need to return home or have booked to stay in Auckland on the Friday, there is no pressure to attend this event.
Please let us know in the RSVP notes if you will be joining us for the day after celebration and if you wish to participate in the bowls tournament.
Getting to Waiheke Island
Getting to Waiheke Island is very easy, it is a quick 40 minute ferry from Downtown Auckland.
The Fullers Ferry Terminal is located on Quay Street near Botswana Butchery. If you search for "Downtown Ferry Terminal" in Google maps, it will show the location.
Once you arrive at the Ferry Terminal look for the Fullers Ticket Office, linked below.
Then, after a quick 40 minute trip, you'll be relaxing in the sun on Waiheke Island.
When you arrive on Waiheke Island there are a number of taxis waiting to collect you from the ferry terminal, just follow the signs to the taxi stand. You can also pre-book a taxi or shuttle to collect you.
There are a few taxi services on the island - Waiheke Five-O, Wai Cabs, Island Taxis, East Transport, Dede Cool Taxi.
We would recommend pre booking a taxi from your accomodation to Mudbrick on the day of the wedding. There are no ubers on the island, so transport is limited.
Accommodation Information
We recommend staying on Waiheke Island the night of the wedding. There are plenty of accomodation options for small and large groups. The best place to look is Airbnb or Booking.com
Mudbrick Vineyard is located in Oneroa, which is approx 5 minutes drive from the ferry terminal. We would recommend staying in Oneroa or Onetangi for ease of commute.
If you would prefer to stay in Auckland, the last ferry departs Waiheke Island at 12:30am.
